Christians, which bits of the old testament are you supposed to ignore...?

Lol! Yeah, you only pay attention to the parts you like, (like gays go to hell) and ignore other sruff (you can't get tattoos or get your ears pierced or you'll go to hell!) I'd love to see christians picketing a tattoo parlor!
