Do you clean your industrial piercing the first night?

i just got an industrial piercing a few hours ago, and i was just wondering if i should clean it tonight? or start tomorrow morning? i've got mixed reviews on this and it's the only thing i forgot to ask my piercer. so, answer asap please!
