Wouldn't a million years of human evolution and change contradict people being 'created in God's image'?

Evolution and creation are at two ends of the spectrum when it comes to explaining life. Evolution disregards creation therefore, arguing an argument from evolution and asking why it doesn't mesh with a creation point of view - is like asking why we can't see the sun at night. It's impossible to have creation and evolution to have anything in common.
