How can I stop the black birds from moving into my neighborhood?

Just recently the black bird has moved into my neighborhood. They are swooping around & landing on my lawn & my neighbors. They crow very loud & wake me up in the morning. I think there are about 10 of them. I know that they multiply fast. I can't find any information on how to scare them away. I see adds about using netting, my trees are huge & woods are close by, some say cats...I don't know of any who live in my neighborhood. Please help me fast before I have 300 like they do in an area in the city where I live which is in the USA,Western NYS.
