CATS AND THEIR SPECIAL "GIFTS" ?

yeah I had a cat that did the same thing...sad enoug all the birds were brougt in killed. She would place them right by my feet and then look up at me and meow with the cutest face...we felt sad for birds...all gone from the backyard ...mice however were alive. One time we didn't kill it and let it be...she had it there for like an hour but wouldn't let it go away, then after playing with it, killed it. Maybe your cat doesn't kill them because it's not the right time yet and is in her instic to wait for later after she has fun with it. Cats do that. I'm glad the birds are alive in your experience. :)
