Lord of the Flies question? (The play)?

I found out today that the Drama department at my school is considering putting on Lord of the Flies, and it would be an all-female cast as I go to a girl's school. It seems that this isn't done very often, so I was wondering if you thought it could be good? I mean, the script and everything remains unchanged, all that is different is that the characters are played by females? If you saw a poster for it, would you be deterred or intrigued enough to watch it?
